Haiku My Heart

today i join rebecca's clan of
wordsmiths who write haikus from the heart
i hope you visit some of the sites

paint filled hands create

fanciful creatures that spark

imagination

and

i am loving this book,

principles of uncertainty

by maira kalman

the title alone. . . .

here is the first page

it reads

how can i tell you everything that is
in my heart.  impossible to begin.  enough.
no begin.
withe the hapless dodo
galumphing innocently around
mauritius sporting a
ridiculous plume.  then-
out of the blue- man arrives
with a hankering for a
dodo sandwich and
poof!
by 1681 extinct.
no more dodo.

  6. Your work has a wonderful playfulness about it. The color is amazing. Your pieces have a Marc Chagall feel to them. Really nice!
