while i could never be an official minimalist,
i am finding the clearing out, passing on of stuff
to be quite satisfying. the one drawback is that i have not spent
as much time as usual painting. here i did a bright journal page.
this week the local print museum in torrance had a fair.
i have wanted to visit the museum, so what better time than an early
saturday morning under tents. come along for a tour...
there was a smorgasbord including sumptuous color
antique and new print machines
posters and other examples of printed material
handmade books
demos
monoprints
hands on
type.
when i got to my car, it was not even noon
but look at the temp!!! mother nature has been out in full
force the week from the blistering heat wave to the stunning moon
display. life is good.
XOXO
happy friday you.
posting today with paint party friday friends
Lovely, bright journal page, and the visit to the printing museum looks most interesting. But the temps were definitely a trifle high! Valerie

Hi Giggles, I almost don't feel right if I don't have at least a bag of stuff to give away each day. I hope I continue.

Delete'Our' moon has been brilliant too - and the thunder and lightning! You don't say if you resisted bringing new 'stuff' home from the fair?! Do you really mean the smorgasbord is food? The colour is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteYes, the moon was quite wonderful. I was using the term smorgasbord loosely meaning a wide variety of offerings. You will be glad to know that I only brought home a tiny packet of envelopes to be used to send out my next ATCs
