    1. I tried to moderate my tendency to over paint a face here. Thank you for your comment, Joan.

  2. So interesting. I see a head dress in the top one, perhaps Native American. And I see a ghost like face emerging from it, as if from fog or mist. So your second one is she who emerged into another era. These of course are just my vision, nothing to do with your intention. Thanks for allowing me to share that here.

    1. Hi Lynn, The first painting was a bit misleading and you are right, there is a ghost of a face. I lightly painted a face shape and did not get a pic before I did that. So your vision was correct. Thanks for noticing.

  3. I love her hair, it looks like little bubbles. The abstract painting made a perfect background for her.

    1. Hi Morag, Yes her hair does look like bubbles. I 'm glad I found a use for the paper I made a while back.

  4. Wow! I see the Asian influence in your work. The wave or mountain abstract that morphed into a portrait is fantastic, Irene.

    1. Yes, I agree, there is an Asian feeling in the abstruse but then it morphed into a portrait as many seem to.
