29 Faces Art Challenge, Day 2

this is is a canvas that i've had in a partially done stage 

for a while.  you can see a partial transfer in the bottom right corner.

it never felt right.  this go round i painted the whole canvas

with gold, turned it around and around until i finally

saw this face.  i sketched her in pencil then painted her in acrylic 

the painting was too shiny so i added some oil pastel then rubbed 

some off.  

whew.  she did not come easily.

  4. :) Irene I just love that gold, I often find the pieces I really have to work at please me most, something about winning the battle I think. Enlarged it as Faye suggested and Yes, fabulous colours.
