monoprint on paper
today my face is a mono print. i will work on her
more over the next week but here she is, fresh off the press.
i have to admit that i was discouraged with this print and
i have to remind myself that i've only been at it for a short time.
i continue to try a different technique with
each face. i don't have any idea whether
there will be 29 techniques but
i will have fun trying.
XO
I am waiting for PPF and I have time, so I went around all Your posts. I have learnt with these faces that I want to follow Your posts, what You are doing. It is so exiting and You are expert. I put You to my side to follow, so I know When You post something new. It is fine I find You and Your wonderful paintings.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Finland,
Uuna - artist, too
I think your Fern Lady is a lovely monoprint. I like her as she is, and her misty appearance adds to the effect. But I can see what you mean about working on her more, and at least you have the photograph at this stage, so it's always worth taking a chance.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are trying a different technique for each face too. Like you I keep wondering if I will find 29 different ways, but there is always the possibility of combining techniques. I've got monoprint on my list, but it has to wait a while until life calms down a bit.
Wow! I was surprised to see that this was a mono print. It will be interesting to see what other techniques you are planning. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your lovely comment.
ReplyDeleteThe faces you have done are just so lovely. These look like oil...you blend the acrylics nicely. Love the colors you chose too.
