29 Faces Art Challenge, Day 12

charcoal on paper

. . . .

the two small figures

at the bottom of this picture glow

bravely in their carnival clothes,

as if the whole darkening world

were dimming its lights for a party.

  4. Your charcoal drawing is so full of love and emotion - perhaps it is the moment before a parting. It makes me think of a scene in a movie, very powerful. You use charcoal so well.

  8. I love this. I can hear the band playing... "I'm in Heaven" possibly? I like how relaxed she looks. To me it looks like they have danced together for years.
