i use them like a playground to experiment
with various mediums and studies.

i made this journal years ago.
the pages are of varying sizes. i have not
been certain about it, the unpredictability of it all.
i have embraced it, added packing tape collage along
with one of my paintings to the cover and
am in love with it. i have joined the 30 day
journal challenge with lisa sonora for the
month of september. it has unexpectedly become
very grounding to write daily.

southern california has experiencing years
of drought. drought tolerant gardens have been popping
up all over to help conserve water so along with the
palm trees of old, succulents are commonplace.
i am appreciating the refreshing beauty in these plants.
if you get some time, a visit to paint party friday
will delight your eyes and spirit.
thank you for visiting today!
I always look forward to your teabag paintings :) T x

ReplyDeleteit is a joy to see all your pieces.
the teabag art are my favorites, so charming.
I love it that your teabag pics are all so different and it's difficult to remember that they are teabag size. I like the 'Vogue' journal page too.
