since i take photos wherever i go, before i write a post
i scan the photo library on my phone to remind myself
where i have been and what i have been doing.
it's a willey-nilly style of organization. i like it.
how do you decide on your next post?
this week i attended the rubber-stamp convention
in carson with my art pal, lorraine. we also too
a junk journal class with teesha moore.
here is a peek of the journal. i continue to add more and more
until it is crammed full of stuff i love and words i want to say.
today is friday and i am linking this post with paint party friday
a weekly community of artists. click the link to see what others are
creating.
Looks like you had a fun week. Love the portrait! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie!
DeleteLovely sketch on what (paper towels?)? Also the journal pages are great. Have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis is a teabag painting, Faye. Thank you!
DeleteOh I love that face! It is beautiful. The journal looks fascinating. I suppose I decide what I'm posting based on what my current projects and whims are...
ReplyDeleteI do the same, Lisa. It suits me fine but sometimes I wonder if I should be more deliberate... not really my style tho.
Deleteattending a convention that's art related is always so inspiring and rejuvenating isn't it? Wonderful projects Irene!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Every once in a while I go to workshops. I like the community and also learning something from a good teacher.
DeleteThat is exactly how i come up with my posts as well. And i would love to take a teesha moore class, wonderful pages!
ReplyDeleteI have taken several of Teesha's workshops. She doesn't disappoint.
DeleteOh, this looks like a gem. Would love to see more. Thanks for your idea
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan!
DeleteA live class with Teesha Moore... You're so lucky!! I love your journal, and the way you did that lettering. great work!
ReplyDeleteI did feel lucky to be in her class! She always puts so much into her teaching. I hope you get to go one day.
DeleteGreat way to keep an idea on your posting. There is so much for you to do where you live. Have a a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Nicole!
DeleteBeautiful photos and artwork! Sometimes an idea pops in my head, this week the paintings sparked what I would say...and other times its bloggers such as yourself that spark a new post idea!! I'm all over the map on that one! Thanks for sharing and great question!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
I feel like I am all over the map as well and wonder if it ties together enough for the reader... but I keep plugging away and keep my fingers crossed!
DeleteSounds like a busy and creative week. Beautiful portrait.
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF
