posting with paint party friday today
This is a really interesting piece. I'm intrigued by what inspired it. I'm also very jealous of your southern californian weather. Here in the far north of Scotland winter has definitely arrived. Mind you we don't get high 80s even in the summer!
ReplyDeleteThe collage made from a previous work is so much fun and so unusual, with the added line drawing, thank you so much for your last reply, i found it so interesting to find out about your process in choosing faces to paint.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to see the face twice over. Love the horned creature piece with my favourite yellow. Great success. You have obviously done some neat work on the latest course - would like to see more...
ReplyDeleteBoth collages are so original and inventive, and I always love your use of colour and line.
ReplyDeleteI would love to spend time next to you watching your process. It is fascinating to see your outcomes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful collage, yes, I have been well balanced shapes and colors !
ReplyDeleteHow very interesting your work is. Love your collage. That collage class has really worked wonders. I think I many need a collage class. Great job.

ReplyDeletethat's AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThis is really interesting work. I don't do that many collages, I think I don't have the "feel" for it. Yours, however, are something special. Good luck with the oil painting.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous and creative collage! It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love your art. There is so much imagination.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day

I am always drawn to collage work as I cannot do it myself. Happy PPF.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collage! The drawings remind me a bit of Egon Schiele. Very cool!
