Fruit of the Gods




The persimmon was called the fruit of the Gods by the ancient Greeks.




 I associated these golden orbs
that I saw sitting
on my grandparent's window sill 






with the mysteries of childhood.

    I have not eaten a persimmon since I was a kid. However my mom served them must not have struck me positively. They are sure gorgeous to look at.

    Love your journal pages. Have a cold, darn it. Did a SoulCollage group today though and it went smashingly.

    I love them, they are so beautiful, they are one of a very few fruits that I love...I am more of a vegetable person...great images...
